Step 1 : Complete Online Application |
Applicant completes online application form and uploads all required documents to support the application via e-admission at www.kuis.edu.my/en/. The required documents are:
i. Copy of applicant’s passport (all pages, including blanks). The validity of the passport must be more than one year.
ii. Copy of applicant’s relevant academic and other certificates including transcripts.The documents must be certified as true copies by the institution issuing them or by any commissioners of oaths.
iii. Copy of applicant’s TOEFL/ IELTS results and transcript (if applicable).
iv. Applicant’s photo (passport-sized in blue background).
Successful applicant will receive a Conditional Offer of Admission letter within 2 weeks after the online application date. Applicant could check and download the letter via e-admission at www.kuis.edu.my/en/

Step 2 : Make EMGS Payment |
Upon receiving the Conditional Offer of Admission letter, applicant is advised to check all details especially applicant’s name and the program offered. Any mistake must be informed immediately to KUIS via e-mail to emgs.bpk@kuis.edu.my. Then, applicant makes the required Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) payments (non-refundable) to KUIS in cash/ bank draft/ cash deposit machine/ online banking/ cheque to Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB); account number 120 290 100 35914 (KOLEJ UNIVERSITI ISLAM ANTARABANGSA SELANGOR).

Step 3 : Perform Medical Check-up |
Applicant performs medical check-up and e-mail the completed “Health Examination Report” form (in PDF format) to emgs.bpk@kuis.edu.my. Upon receiving this document, International Marketing Unit of KUIS will submit all documents to EMGS One-stopcenter and apply a visa approval letter (VAL) for applicant. The VAL application process takes two months (maximum) to complete.

Step 4 : Obtain Temporary Pass |
Upon approval from EMGS, Admission Section of KUIS will upload an Unconditional Offer of Admission letter into e-admission at www.kuis.edu.my/en/. Applicant can check the application status online.
In addition, International Marketing Unit of KUIS will send the hard copy of the unconditional offer letter together with the VAL to the applicant for further action. Applicant must submit the VAL to Malaysian Embassy/ Consulate (the nearest address is stated in the VAL) to obtain Temporary Pass to enter Malaysia.

Step 5 : Enter Malaysia |
Applicant enters Malaysia on the New Student Registration Day as per specific registration date stated in the Unconditional Offer of Admission letter. Upon arrival at KLIA or KLIA2 airport, applicant is advised to wait inside the arrival hall. International Marketing Unit officers will meet and welcome applicant at the airport. Free shuttle services from KLIA and KLIA2 airport to the campus is provided by the university during the registration day. At the campus, applicant will be ushered to specific registration counters. Applicant officially becomes a registered student of KUIS after receiving a matric number. Student will proceed with lecture and tutorial right after Ta’aruf (Orientation) week.
